Queso dip is the main character for the Wednesday Date night special. The margs did the job. The tacos were pretty good.

INSTA BROUGHT ME HERE! Saw a review for their (All Day) Wednesday Date Night for two which includes a beverage carafè, choriqueso, 6 street tacos, and churros. It has an ample amount of food: Sautéed Shrimp, Guajillo Chicken, Marinated Steak with tons of protein on each taco. The queso was loaded with chorizo, too. We got the Bloody Mermaid Water shark week marg carafe with cute gummy sharks and grenadine blood that enhanced the strength. They even provided music to set the vibe. Everyone is super friendly from greater to wait staff. We had 3 different people checking on us. It did feel a bit rushed but I can see why as it got packed quickly. We came up on a perfect °75 degree night. So, the temp was perfect. Made a dash from Charlotte which was well worth the drive. The experience was great!

TAYLOR was EXCEPTIONAL. She is such a gals gal and made us feel right at home. She checked on us frequently throughout our dinner and made sure we had everything we needed. She even went to the extent to bring my friend (who is GF) chips and salsa in lieu of birthday churros. She was super cognisant of the gluten intolerance and even made sure other staff members were aware. SUPER appreciate of her!!!! Taylor, you da bomb!

The best food and service in Winston-Salem. Our server Jacob did not disappoint in any way, shape, or form. He recommended the Birria burger and it was one of the best things I ever had to eat. To drink I had the margarita flight, the classic was fantastic but the blood orange and blackberry was the star the drinks went down smooth and just tasted fresh. You will not be disappointed if you come here at all.

I had a really great time at Alma Mexicana. We stopped by for their Alma Date Night Special which happens every Wednesday from 11am to 9pm. The space is nice with plenty of seating and a outdoor area that I'm sure is great when the weather is nice. The service was great as well. Our server made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful with the menu. For $35 dollars the date night deal includes choriqueso, six street tacos of our choice, churritos and our choice of a bottle of wine or a margerita pitcher! You really can't beat that anywhere. The choriqueso was rally good and tasty. I had the guajillo chicken, fried chicken and the shrimp tacos. I absolutely loved the guajillo chick and shrimp taco and would definitely order them again. The churritos were also tasty but I couldn't eat a ton because I was full from all the other food. The food was plentiful and all for an amazing price. I honestly don't know why folks aren't here every single Wednesday. A wonderful deal with good food and drinks equal a good time. If you're looking for a great midweek date night for a good price that has good food you should definitely give Alma Mexicana a shot.
